Description

This mosaic was made during one week with a class of 30 year 6 pupils working in groups just outside their classroom –  The design was created using the pupil’s drawings they had made on a previous visit based on the flora and fauna of nearby Ashdown Forest.

The overall design depicts a spiral showing growth in nature and the Four Seasons and the mosaic was completed in June 2013 using porcelain, glass,  gold and milifiore as well as mirrors which catch the light beautifully on the front of the school building. A skilful parent designed and built the wooden frame.
