A ┬áSaturday youth group, held at the United Reformed Church in Saffron Walden in Essex, made a series of mosaics with the help of local artist Anne Cardwell and the kind sponsorship of their local Topps Tiles store. Other mosaics covered the themes of the Easter rising and the Three Kings. A group of children aged between 5 and 11 years old, smashed and stuck the tiles with the help of 2 teenagers, Emily and Ellie. The mosaic was made in a period of just two and a half hours, including the drawings. It was grouted that afternoon for display in the church on the Sunday! Who said Rome wasn’t built in a day! The mosaics are now all on display in the Church Hall.

Tiles donated by Topps Cambridge.
